Dr. Sheryl Galt
Dr. Galt earned her baccalaureate degree in
molecular and cellular biology as well as her medical degree
from the University of Arizona Health Sciences Center. She
completed her residency in Internal Medicine at the same
institution and is board certified by the American Board of
Internal Medicine.
Dr. Jesse
Cheng The newest member of the Coryell
Memorial ED is Dr. Cheng. He earned his BA at Yale College
and his MD at the University of Missouri-Columbia. Dr. Cheng
then completed a Master of Public Health, Postdoctoral
Fellowship at Harvard University.
Dr. James
Hodges Dr. Hodges received his B.S.
degree from Southern Illinois University and earned his M.D.
at St. George's University. He completed his internship and
residency at Seton Hall University and now is a partner at
Providence Internal Medicine Associates in addition to being
a hospitalist at Coryell Memorial Hospital.
Dr. Barry
Phillips Dr. Phillips earned both his
B.A. in psychology and then his medical degree at the
University of Virginia . Dr. Phillips has practiced
emergency medicine since 1991 and is ATLS, ACLS and PALS
certified.
Dr. William
Mitchell Dr. Mitchell is a graduate of
the Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center with an
M.D. He completed his residency at Waco-McLennan County
Family Practice Residency and is board certified by the
American Board of Family Medicine.

Norris Dr. Norris earned his B.A. from Baylor University and then
graduated from Southwestern Medical School in Dallas
with an M.D. He received specialty training in
General Surgery from Baylor University Medical Center in Dallas and is board certified
by the American Board of Surgery.

Dr. Elisabeth
Flachofsky Coryell Memorial's new
anesthesiologist is Dr. Flachofsky. When she earned her
Doctor of Medicine degree at Texas A&M Health Science Center
she was valedictorian of her class. She completed an
anesthesiology residency at Duke University and is board
certified by the American Board of Anesthesiologists.
Dr. Kevin
Dwyer Dr. Dwyer, a board certified
radiologist, is also a veterinarian. He earned his medical
degree from the UT Health Sciences Center in San Antonio and
had residencies at Parkland Memorial Hospital in Dallas and
Scott & White Clinic in Temple. He is board certified by the
American Board of Radiology.
Cardiology
Dr. Linley
Watson Dr. Watson earned a B.A. and
his medical degree from The University of Kansas where he also completed his
residency in internal medicine. He continued his
specialty education with a fellowship in cardiology at the University of Missouri College of
Medicine. He is certified by the American Board of Internal
Medicine with a subspecialty of cardiovascular disease.
